Below you will see several screen shots of amazing Azam and typical uses. At the end of the page is an option to see online filmed demo/training clips of Azam in action. The best way of course is to download Azam for a free 30 day trial and see it for yourself.

Journalist recording

The Azam Phone function is being used in the example below to record an outgoing phone call, with a pre-defined list of markers prepared beforehand by the journalist. The Keywords are already inserted on the screen as shown, to help the user remember what to talk about. He can copy and paste these words in the Index comments field and mark them with the Mark button while the phone call is taking place. Later when the recording is played back the user can easily move to a particular point within the recording. The whole recording can be stored and emailed in whole or in part. (The actual conversation!)

Dictation recording

The Azam Dictation function is being used in the example below to record Grandma's cooking recipes. There are several words in the Keywords area that can help the user search for the recording at a later date. The user will press the Mark button while Grandma is talking. Later when the recording is played back the user can easily move to a particular point within the recording. The whole recording can be stored and emailed in whole or in part. (The actual conversation not a transcript!) The Azam Dictation function is the best way to send voice emails, record religious services, or for scientists to record the results of experiments 'on the fly' without having to take notes.

Dictation playback

The Azam External Message Player below is shown here playing back the recording. The user can jump to the index markers shown, in the same way an audio CD can be skipped to a favourite music track. The Azam External Message Player is downloadable free of charge by anyone, so that they can listen to Azam voice email attachments sent by the user.

Azam Toolbar for Microsoft® Word

The Azam Message Player Toolbar allows you to control the playback of an Azam recording from either the internal Azam Message Player OR the Azam External Message Player whilst you are using Microsoft® Word. This is very useful for transcription purposes. The buttons shown below allow you to:

  • Rewind an Azam recording back to the start.
  • Rewind an Azam recording by 2 seconds.
  • Play an Azam recording from the previous Index Mark.
  • Play an Azam recording from its current position.
  • Stop an Azam recording.
  • Play an Azam recording from the next Index Mark.

Meeting recording

The Azam Meeting function is being used in the example below to record a sales meeting. As this meeting was arranged in a hurry, the chairperson has decided to index mark the recording in 7 parts with no actual agenda items pre-loaded or pre-typed. The attendees will have to remember what each number (1-7) corresponds to, during the meeting.

Meeting playback

The Azam External Message Player is playing back the 7-part sales Meeting recording. The user can jump to the index markers shown, in the same way an audio CD can be skipped to a favourite music track. The Azam External Message Player is downloadable free of charge by anyone, so that they can listen to Azam voice email attachments sent by the user.

Meeting recording using Azam Agenda

The Azam Meeting function is shown below, but in this example, a pre-loaded Azam Agenda has been stored ready to use while the proceedings are being recorded. Important keywords can be typed in for subsequent searching.

Meeting playback using Azam Internal Message Player

The Azam Internal Message Player is playing back the meeting recorded in the previous example. The user can jump to the index markers shown, in the same way an audio CD can be skipped to a favourite music track. The Azam Internal Message Player comes as part of the Azam application. It allows the user to move backwards and forwards, or create new Index markers.

Offline Meeting

The Offline Meeting function is a screen displaying the cost of a meeting in progress. This makes the participants aware of the time and cost of the meeting to their organization.

Phone recording

The Azam Phone function below shows a Telesales person being trained. After the call has finished, it can be played back to mentor the trainee, or in the case below to ensure nothing erroneous was promised to the customer.

The user can jump to the index markers shown, in the same way an audio CD can be skipped to a favourite music track. The Azam External Message Player is downloadable free of charge by anyone, so that they can listen to Azam voice email attachments sent by the user.

Diary recording

The Azam Diary Function is being used in the example below to record a living diary for a typical teenager. A template is included with Azam to facilitate this exact scenario. There are several pre-loaded words in the Keywords area that can help the user search for the recording at a later date. The user will press the Mark button while talking, and to change the subject matter. Later when the recording is played back the user can easily move to a particular point within the recording. The whole recording can be stored for posterity and emailed in whole or in part to friends. (The actual conversation not a transcript!)

Voice morphing and special effects

The Azam voice morphing function is being used below to slow down the playback of an Azam Dictation. A secretary is using it as an alternative way to transcribe a letter she is typing. Please note: people with voice impediments can use voice morphing as a way to be better understood. Research has shown that in certain cases, speeding up a recording an adding echo can improve clarity.

Language translation

In the example below, the school language teacher has asked pupils for the perfect French pronunciation of a paragraph of text. The pupils cut and paste the text from the school website, translate it and hear it pronounced using a female voice.

To see Azam's video email functionality in action, download the product for a free 30 day trial. A screen image will not give it justice.
